About Me

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My undergraduate degree in Psychology was earned at Texas Tech University.

Through the course of my 23-year career in the field, I’ve helped clients of all ages – from children to the elderly and families -- deal with the challenges of depression, suicide prevention, serious mental illnesses, substance abuse and addiction. My strengths center in providing a compassionate level of understanding.

Life doesn’t come with instructions. I believes that everyone can benefit at some time in their life from support, reassurance, guidance and a sounding board when people are facing obstacles in life, marriage, work and family dynamics. I focus is on assisting individuals and families in developing their maximum potential in these areas to create happier, healthier lives.

Misti has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and she uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples.
